Per Spective, the Scandinavian artist, has once more underwhelmed his audience and critics with his latest piece, Merkelapp No:1760.
Critics have leapt out to say that the title is too unimaginative and derivative of Post Offices. The artist’s agent said that Per wanted to call it untitled but felt that after a thousand other pieces with the same title, he’d better distinguish this piece from the others.
His followers were momentarily stunned by Per’s drawing having the label in English, but were reassured that the implications are an affirmation of the Norwegian language. The real world label is in his native language but the unreal word is English/American.
